Unfair and/or Wrongful Dismissal
If you feel your employer ended your employment unfairly, either
as a result of the reason for dismissal or the process used, then
you may have been unfairly dismissed and might have a case to take
to an Employment Tribunal.
There are a number of ways in which your dismissal could be
deemed unfair:
- Your employer did not follow the company disciplinary and
dismissal process
- You were dismissed for an automatically unfair reason, such as
wanting to take maternity leave
It will be deemed wrongful dismissal if an employee is dismissed
in breach of the contractual (or statutory minimum, if greater)
obligation to provide notice.
At O'Neill Morgan, we believe in offering a one-to-one legal
